Sunset
I went to the pastel society exhibition last week and was impressed with the variety and standard of the paintings. There were a lot of very loose paintings which inspired me to paint this piece. It is on a large colorfix paper, 100cm x 70cm. Lots of fun to paint!

Sea side Adventures
This picture was done for www.teamnick.org.au charity event for November. The photo reference was from Prue Metzke. I enjoyed completing this painting, it all happened easily. Lately I am having trouble completing works for various reasons. I think I have too many things that I want to paint, so I keep starting a new one before the last one is finished. Does anyone else have that problem?

Bagging the Copra: Work in progress
This is from my recent time in Vanuatu, where the kids and family were all working on getting the copra bagged and ready to be picked up for transport. Little more work to go.

A litter of Puppies
Hi, this is my newest piece of work. Eight very different characters creating this beautiful
litter of puppies. Each has his own lovely personality. Had a wonderful time with the rich complimentary colours. Enjoy!

Mornington Beach finished
Finished this piece today. I have really enjoyed working on this. I had been contemplating painting this for a while. We went down to Mornington on a really hot day in Summer. I took a photo of my daughter strolling a head of me. There she is in the white dress. The lovely thing about the photo were the wonderful reflections in the water.

The Windy Path
The Windy Path is a charcoal on water color paper. I loved the feel of the tree and the way the limbs twisted and turned through the mist.

The streets of Venice
This painting was done in pastel and the reference photo was taken when I was in Venice last year. We had a gondala ride through the magical waterways of Venice.
Feeding the birds
This is a picture of a little girl feeding the birds. I used a reference photo that my cousin took with her permission.
