I am a pastel artist. My day time job is an intensive care nurse. I am married with two beautiful children. I love the art of creating. It gives me balance to my life. My passion is pastel. I am a member of Ringwood Art Society and a member of the Pastel Society of Victoria. I have recently become a full member of AGRA. Pastel is my favourite medium. I love the vibrancy, the feel of the pastel and the paper. I am contiuously discovering new things about pastel. Pastel is immediate in its results. I try to capture scenes and people in action. Movement of figures and their body language are an important focus in my art. I am also fascinated about exploring color and color combinations. My artistic influences are my teacher, Terrianne Murray, Harley Brown and the impressionist painters such as Monet, Renoir and Degas.
