Summer

Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope that you all get a chance to relax and enjoy the moment.

I have been painting another beach scene. I was captivated by the power of the parental bond and child. The protective nature of the father sheltering his child from the impact of the waves. They continue to roll up on the shoreline and churn up the sand in the shallows while dad and baby play in the shallows.

Yeah I was there about 4.20 but I couldn't find you guys, enjoyed seeing your work though. I loved the undies and bra set too made from wine labels - and the tri clear panel work that was really interesting. I saw one of the easter bunny paintings had sold, they were cool. Yeah a sale would have made the evening even more awesome for you!

Love the colors in the ocean, I can smell the salt air. And thank you for this warm scene as winter has made his debut here. You handle this subject so well. Merry Christmas to you.

As always, I had to click on the picture and enlarge it to see all wonderful pastel strokes and subtle colors. The man and his child are so endearing. I agree with Holly that you can smell the salt air when you look at this picture. Great picture.
