The Red Bucket

I think I have finished now. I have enjoyd this piece a bit of fun.

I just dropped off some work to the Lilydale show. A local agriculture show that we have. They have anything from cooking to art and award ribbons for works. I have entered in to it for the last couple of years. One good thing about it is that it is nice and close. I nearly missed the drop off today as I have lost my entry form and thought the drop off was after 5 but it was meant to be before 4.00pm. I was lucky that the man taking the pieces was still there.

This came out wonderful. The highlight in her hair and the color of the water bring you right into the piece. By mid December I will be done with work/school for a bit and plan on spending a lot of time painting and getting back to my neglected blog.

I like this one Kay. That arse on the beach is like a beautiful peach. Well done XX

Hi Holly, I am glad that you will have more time for painting.

Hi Wendi, I am glad you like the peachiness of the shapes on the beach. I hope you had a lovely time in Queensland. Kay

This piece turned out really well. The reds balance really well with the blues. You feel like you can go and dip a toe in the water. I like the touches of turquoise around the picture.

Thanks Catherine. I am being a bit slack in posting and visiting my favourite blogspots at the moment. Running out of time. Kay
