I really like the way you mixed the blue with the black in the background. I often use black, although some people think it is a no-no. I love the pose of these young dancers, looking so mesmerized with what is going on. This is another great piece. I know what you mean about so many other things you should be doing rather than painting, but I made excuses that way for much of my life, but now I put painting first whenever I can. I think as artists we feel better when we produce something.Its cathartic.
Hi Kay, this is so beautiful - there is so much spirit and beauty in it. and me too - been painting (though I should have finished rearranging the house first, the bed is propped up on the lounge room wall haha)
Isn't it the truth. I sat down the other day to paint and it was like heaven. Time flies and there is a since of satisfaction, even when things do not go as planned.
