Mosman Gorge

This picture is inspired by our trip to Cairns last year. We swam at these falls. The place is breath taking in its beauty. The two children in the foreground are my son and daughter.

Love the way you 'use' colour...and that you're not frightened to 'use' colour. Just beautiful!

Hi Kay, again your abilities with pastel are wonderful! This is so beautifully rendered - enough detail without being overly drawn and so rich in colour. It has real depth – in a word gorgeous. May I ask.. How big is this artwork?

Absolutely stunning pastel,Kay. When I enlarged the picture, you can see all the beautiful colors you used. I like the value contrast allowing the waterfall to stand out. You have included all of the people without making it look busy.

Love your use of color, I just want to dive in. Today is cold and rainy and very muddy. This is a treat for the eyes.
